Spaghetti code and badly drawn rats


I'm trying out coming up with bizarre titles that represent what the devlogs are about from now on.

The current code I've written for battle encounters is really badly designed, and will scale horribly if I tried to expand on it. I will be sending another devlog later today explaining some of the techniques I was using, along with images to visualize them. And then a 3rd devlog with whatever I come up with to solve the problem.

Things changed:

  • Slash animation for punches
  • re-arranged the UI again to be more properly spaced
